Façade access system
Façade access systems are designed to create safe and efficient access to building façades for activities such as maintenance, inspection, cleaning and repair work. The systems may consist of permanent rails, anchorage points or other technical solutions that enable the user to work along the façade using personal fall protection equipment or by means of rope access.
Facade-access systems are mainly used on buildings where access from the ground, scaffolding or a cherry picker is difficult or impractical. A well-designed system makes it possible to reach the parts of the facade where recurrent work needs to be carried out, such as windows, glass sections and technical installations.
