Positioning lanyards

Positioning slings are a valuable tool in climbing to create safe and comfortable positions on the rope. These loops are used to allow the climber to rest, balance or change position during the climbing trip. To use a positioning sling, the climber attaches the loop around the rope and tightens the sling to create a tight and stable position. The climber can then place their feet or hang from the sling to reduce arm strain and rest during the climb.
