Periodic control & PPE inspection
We make it easy for you and your company to carry out the annual check, all you have to do is fill in the form on this page, or contact us directly and we'll do the rest!
We have trained inspectors to check your equipment whether it is Petzl, Skylotec, Lyon, Checkmate or any other brand, in our PPE workshop or on site. We are also authorised to inspect specialised equipment such as TSL kits.
The equipment is of course documented so that everything can be followed up. We use Paper trail, a web-based inspection and documentation system for PPE inspections. With Papertrail, you can keep track of all gadgets that have been inspected and they can be easily found. The system also reminds you when the next inspection is approaching.
Annual inspection of fall protection equipment
Personal fall protection equipment should be inspected by a competent person at least every 12 months or at the interval specified in the manufacturer's instructions for use.
Even PPE used privately should be inspected annually but is not subject to the same requirements. The inspection is done to ensure that your and your co-workers' equipment provides protection in accordance with the manufacturer's manual and intended use.
PPE can include, for example, helmets, harnesses, ropes, slings, carbines, and fall arrest devices, but also larger equipment such as rope blocks, tripods and fixed fall protection systems.
In addition to the annual check, the daily check is just as important, if not more, it saves many lives every year. Always make sure to inspect and check your own or borrowed equipment before starting your work.
If you would like to learn more about the use of personal fall protection equipment, we have together with SIS (the Swedish Institute for Standards), manufacturers and other companies in the industry have developed a documents for guidance.

If you want to carry out the company's inspection yourself we offer the necessary training. You can also learn more about how to use the Papertrail documentation system.
