Our customers consist of companies and authorities that have operations and employees working at height, as well as sports and professional shops. Through our website, we also reach out to private individuals in both the sports and outdoor segments.

The head office is located in Uppsala and also houses our training centre, which has a ceiling height of 18 metres. C2 also has local offices in southern Sweden. C2 is now 20 years old and is one of the largest players in the industry. We are known for our high level of expertise, high quality and focus on solving customer needs.

About the service

As an instructor at C2, you will have the opportunity to instruct everything from roofers to wind power technicians in one of northern Europe's largest and most modern training facilities. You will be part of an experienced and inspiring machinery for training industrial climbers.

You work closely with our customers where you, as an instructor, will be the safe face they meet every time they come for training. Our customers consist of companies and authorities that have operations and employees working at high altitude but in many different industries. This naturally means that the training programmes are varied. You will be responsible for training your own groups in areas such as wind power, telecoms, fall protection, rope access and industrial climbing.

We have high ceilings, both in the premises and in the team. Community and cohesion mean a lot and are a matter of course in the security work we do together! The work is based both from our premises in Uppsala, but there are also training programmes in other parts of the country. Your duties include leading our training programmes according to instructions from the Training Manager & Head Instructor.

About you

We attach great importance to your personal qualities and we believe that you are a fearless person who likes to take initiative and is used to working independently, as well as structured and educational. You are also sociable and appreciate working with people in groups.

The position includes annual medical checks, which are a requirement for working at high altitude. This means that you naturally need to be in good health.

Requirements

  • Experience in industrial climbing, rope access or fall protection techniques
  • Good knowledge of Swedish & English, both written and spoken
  • Travelling within Sweden approx. 60 % in periods
  • B driving licence

Meritorious

  • Pedagogical training or experience in training
  • Work in a switchyard environment and/or mast and pole work. For example, line fitter
  • Has worked with fall protection
  • Certificate in IRATA, SOFT, SPRAT or IFMGA/UIAGM exam

About the roles

In this role you will:

  • Lead and coach our Training team and be an inspiring role model for our instructors.
  • Ensure that our training programmes are delivered with the highest quality and accuracy.
  • Manage customer responsibilities (within training), including pricing, quotes and customer enquiries.
  • Plan and manage the course calendar and ensure that the schedule runs smoothly.
  • Take responsibility for financial processes such as invoicing and project accounting.
  • Developing and improving our processes and ways of working to remain at the cutting edge.
  • Drive business development for Training and identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Business Area Manager for Training.
  • Be a member of our management team.
