Health and safety policy
C2 Vertical Safety aims to be "The best workplace in the world".
We believe that good health and quality are linked. Preventive, systematic work environment management leads to a good work environment that contributes to both the health of those who work and the quality of what is delivered. Systematic work environment management is about paying attention to and taking into account all conditions in the work environment that can affect the health and safety of employees in daily work, and implementing and following up on agreed measures. The concept of work environment also includes issues such as victimisation and discrimination on the basis of gender, ethnic origin, age, sexual orientation or disability.
Equal treatment in the workplace is part of C2's core values and zero tolerance is applied to victimisation, bullying and discrimination.
The employer is responsible for health and safety at work and must ensure that health and safety management is integrated into all aspects of the organisation.
The CEO has the ultimate responsibility for the work environment at C2 Vertical Safety AB. Employers and employees must work together to achieve a good working environment. In order for the work to be successful, everyone's commitment is needed. The safety representative represents the employees in work environment issues and is involved in the planning and implementation of decided measures. If necessary, external expertise is called in.
Systematic work environment management is primarily driven by continuous improvements in our improvement system System C2. In addition, issues relating to the work environment are dealt with as a standing item on the agenda at company meetings, through safety rounds, employee interviews and surveys.Risk assessments are carried out systematically using customised checklists. Decided measures are handled as cases in System C2. It is particularly important to consider risks in the event of changes in operations. The employer must report all occupational injuries to the Swedish Social Insurance Agency in accordance with the Occupational Injuries Insurance Act. In the event of a serious accident or serious incident at work, the employer must notify the Swedish Work Environment Authority without delay in accordance with Section 2 of the Work Environment Ordinance.Illness, accidents and incidents show that there may be risks in the work environment. It is important that these are investigated to reduce the risks in the future. In the event of prolonged absence from work, special attention must be paid to the need for support.
Emergency and crisis management preparedness is in place.
Sponsorship policy
C2 stands for Climbing Competence. The core of our brand is competence and quality. We never compromise, whether in our training programmes, in our choice of suppliers or with the products we market. Only the best is good enough.
With our stringent requirements for quality, expertise and safety, it is only natural that C2 allies itself with the best in its genre. Our products and services are world-class. So should the people and events we are associated with. Performance is important. But equal importance is attached to the personality and strong "drive" of the person who wishes to enter into cooperation with C2.
For events, there is a strong emphasis on having a clear direction, elite competitions rather than events for the masses. Here too, the personality and drive of the people and purpose behind the event are taken into account.
C2's basic requirements for sponsorship
- Our sponsorship commitments should go hand in hand with our environmental policy. C2 does not sponsor events where the environment is exposed in one way or another.
- For C2, human rights are an important ethical rule that we never compromise on.
- No to anything that can be associated with drugs in any form. This also applies to other partners in connection with event or person sponsorship.
