Male adventurer of the year Robin Trygg!
Robin has set an example that there are things more important than reaching the top. Although the earthquake in Nepal forced him to cancel his expedition, he stayed on to help the people there. He returned against all odds a year later and this time he made it all the way to the top, becoming the first person to do so.

The female adventurer of the year is Johanna Davidsson for her solo trip to the South Pole on skis.
