C2 Check-in

Participating in training, work at height and other similar activities organized by C2 Vertical Safety can lead to physical and mental stress, sometimes quite severe. Some medical conditions make participation in such training/activities inappropriate.

Students' health and medical conditions are their own responsibility, C2 Vertical Safety has no responsibility in that.

Participants are recommended to be able to present a valid health certificate issued by a physician in connection to the training/activity. A minimum requirement for all the active participants is signing of this declaration.

Below follows examples of higher risk/contraindications for participating in training/activity:

Circulation diseases (f.ex. cardiovascular disease)

- High or low blood pressure, diabetes

- Respiratory and airway problems

- Epilepsy, seizures, fainting.

- Fear of heights/vertigo

- Hearing loss / Dizziness / Balance difficulties

- Limited functions in f.ex. arms or legs

- Influence of medication, alcohol or drugs

- Mental illness

The student has to inform the instructor before or during the training/activity if he/she due to any reasons doesn´t understand what´s said, feels anxious/afraid or if there is anything else which could impact the safety for the student or the others.

If participants don´t present the valid certificate from a physician or sign under this declaration, they are not allowed to participate in training/activity. C2 has the right to test the exhalation before the practical part of the training.

C2 reserves the right to take breath tests before practical sessions and to exclude participants from training if the instructors are concerned about the participants' health, fitness or attitude towards safety.

This document will be archived together with other course documentation and will not be used in any other context.

Personal data

Personal data collected by C2 is used for fulfilling company´s legal obligations. The data on training participants is stored for 10 years.
