The Petzl GRIGRI+ is a rope brake with cam-assisted locking and anti-panic handle, developed for sport climbing and top rope. It provides increased safety when belaying and is particularly adapted for learning, while offering smooth and controlled belaying.

The cam-assisted function automatically locks the rope when loaded, providing a safer belay in case of a fall. The anti-panic handle automatically brakes if the user pulls too hard, reducing the risk of failure when descending. In ASSIST+ mode, the cam function is pre-activated, making it easier to take in slack and providing extra safety when top rope climbing. The device is easy to use with clear rope diagrams and works with single ropes between 8.5 and 11 mm.
