PINCH, the versatile belay device with assisted braking designed for sport climbing, multi-pitch climbing and rope access techniques. PINCH is the first device on the market that can be seamlessly attached directly to the centre ring of the climbing harness. The innovative design places it close to the body, eliminating the need for fixed placement when the rope is released, allowing for a secure grip with all fingers on the brake rope at all times.

PINCH has a compact design and an extended span that allows the belayer to easily feed out 20 to 30 cm more rope in a single movement. The linear rope guide through the steel front brake grooves minimises rope tangles during descent and abseiling. The speed is intuitively controlled and the pressure of the braking hand contributes to improved handling of the brake line, which is particularly beneficial when using thin or soft ropes.

Safety is paramount with the anti-panic function, providing reassurance for both novice and experienced users. Noteworthy is the integrated second brake level, which facilitates controlled lowering for lighter persons or in systems with high rope friction. Advanced users and rope technicians have the option to permanently deactivate the anti-panic function using the supplied screw.
