This year's Rope rescue 2016 workshop attracted many participants. With an extra half-day this year, there was time for more discussions, equipment review, own tests and exercises. The second day of the workshop was about training, rigging, method selection and equipment for suicide alarms. Attunda Brandförsvar, Piketen in Stockholm and Räddningstjänsten Storgöteborg shared their experiences and Piketen offered a demonstration of urban rigging based on several different scenarios. Thank you to everyone involved and all participants for an inspiring workshop!

A 5-day training programme conducted according to international GWO standards. With us, all four basic modules Work at Heights, First Aid, Fire Awareness and Manual Handling are included in the programme. This means that after completing and passing the course, the course participants receive an international certificate and are ready for work in wind turbines according to the GWO standard. The training is carried out at C2 Training Centre in Uppsala.

On 28 November at 20.00, it's time for the La Sportiva Legends Only 2015 invitational competition. For the fifth year in a row, the world's best climbers will meet at the Telefonplan Climbing Centre. This year, the world's best female bouldering athletes are competing against each other. Five ladies from the world elite have been invited and all five will compete. The starting field is unique with reigning champions, World Cup winners and extremely successful rookies who are predicted to have a bright future. The competition format is different from the World Cup. For a couple of hours in the days before the competition, the climbers get to practice the problems, a competition format that makes the climbing much more difficult and spectacular.
