Workshop Rope Rescue is aimed at those who work in the Rescue Service, Fire Defence and in industry. During a full day, you will learn from colleagues at the Rescue Service in Höganäs and Södertörn who have successfully developed working models, training and exercise methodology for rescue operations at height.
The Rope Rescue workshop is organised by C2 Vertical Safety and is held in Uppsala in our training facility C2 Training Center.
During the Rope Rescue Workshop, you will also get a current review of Enercon and the challenges that Swedish wind power faces in terms of, among other things, safety and rescue work procedures. You will also learn about a new working methodology for documentation and implementation of inspection of personal protective equipment - PPE. The workshop will end in our training hall at C2 Training Center with an authentic rescue exercise that we will discuss and analyse - "Best practice".

C2 works closely with some of Sweden's and the Nordic region's best climbers, adventurers and multisport teams. Climber Said Belhaj, who for many years competed in the Swedish national team with merits both nationally and internationally, is one of them. He is now involved in the film project "Following the red dots", which will be a road movie with music and climbing through Europe. The journey and shooting of the film has just begun. We received this picture a few days ago from Björn Sterner, Australian Bygg who attended C2 Rope Access in January. The picture was taken at a job in Norway where the assignment was to build a 120 metre high mast for wind measurement. Rope access is often a good choice for work at height. You can get to the site quickly, access hard-to-reach areas and work efficiently and safely. And like other working methods, rope access requires knowledge.
