GWO-ART-HR Refresher
GWO - ART-HR Refresher is a one-day refresher course conducted in accordance with the international GWO standard.
GWO - ART-HR is an advanced training programme for wind turbine technicians, repairers, electricians and others. GWO - ART-HR builds on the knowledge and skills of GWO-BST (Basic Safety Training) and is for personnel who are required or selected by their employer to perform or lead an advanced rescue operation. The training is a key measure to increase safety and reduce risks when working in wind turbines.
This training is conducted in warm indoor premises during all months of the year. Experienced and well-trained instructors from C2 Vertical Training lead the training. Completed and approved training provides an international certificate according to the GWO standard.
Requirements for carrying out the training programmes:
- Completed GWO Basic Safety Training (BST)
- GWO manual handling
- GWO First aid, ART-H
- WINDA profile
- Before starting the programme, all students must sign a health declaration.
Course information
We provide the equipment and materials for the course. At C2's training courses, we always use the latest and best equipment available on the market. The courses can be held in both Swedish and English. If you want other languages, get in touch! The training is conducted at our course facility in Uppsala or on site at the customer. Coffee and lunch are included. Minimum 4, maximum 12 participants.

Course element
- ART-H: Hub spinner inside blade rescue(HSIBR)
The course module updates knowledge and skills beyond GWO work at height to be able to participate or lead a rescue operation from the Hub, spinner or inside the wind turbine blades. The course covers two days.
