Suspension Trauma Relief Strap

Suspension Trauma Relief Strap is a compact pressure-relief strap developed to reduce the negative effects of prolonged suspension in a fall arrest harness. The strap allows the user to stand up in the harness and relieve pressure while awaiting help or rescue.

The suspension relief strap is easily attached to the harness using a textile loop and Velcro fastening and can be quickly deployed when needed. By creating a foot support, the suspended user can stand up and temporarily reduce pressure from the harness. The low weight and compact design mean the strap can be worn on the harness without restricting freedom of movement during work. The length is adjustable to suit the user.

Areas of use

Suspension Trauma Relief Strap is used together with a safety harness when working at height where there is a risk of the user being left hanging in the harness after a fall. It is intended as a relief aid while the user is waiting for rescue.
