The SUMMIT ice axe is designed for classic mountaineering and offers an excellent balance between price and performance. It is lightweight and has good anchoring properties for both head and nail; it is curved to provide the necessary space for steep ice; it can be used in piolet-canne or piolet-ramp mode as well as in piolet-traction mode on short, steep sections.
