It is lightweight and has a water jet shaped handle that provides a very comfortable grip under the axe head. The technical design of the curved handle provides the necessary clearance in steep, icy terrain. The forged and well-balanced head provides very good anchoring properties. The grip of the handle makes it a precise and efficient ice axe.
