Dry-tooling replacement pick

The Petzl DRY is a replacement pick for ice axes with a modular head, specifically developed for dry tooling and mixed climbing. The tapered point provides effective penetration into hard, cold ice, while the teeth offer good grip during technical climbing on both rock and ice.

DRY is made of 4 mm steel and tapers down to 3.3 mm at the tip for efficient placement in hard ice. The teeth along the lower edge of the blade, near the shaft, facilitate hooking on rock and over ice formations. The teeth on the upper side help to stabilise the ice axe during inverted placements, such as during stein pulls. The blade is compatible with several of Petzl's modular ice axes and can be replaced when needed.
