EdgeProtec Guardrail

EdgeProtec Guardrail from Fallprotec is a collective fall protection system in the form of a guardrail for roofs and other work areas with frequent access. The railing creates a physical barrier against fall risks and makes it possible to move within the protected area without personal fall arrest equipment.

EdgeProtec can be installed along the outer edges of the roof or around features such as roof lights to delineate hazard areas. The system is made of powder-coated aluminium with resistance to marine environments and can be fitted on flat roofs, roof edges, metal sheet roofs and standing seam roofs. Installation requires no penetration of the roof membrane. Slanted posts are available as an option to reduce the visibility of the railing from ground level. EdgeProtec is not intended for areas accessible to the general public.

Areas of use

EdgeProtec is used as collective fall protection during industrial roof maintenance and on roof surfaces where personnel need to be present regularly. The guardrail can be positioned along the outer edge of the roof or around roof lights and other areas where there is a risk of falls.
