The CMC Clutch is an advanced but easy-to-use rope brake that provides maximum control when lowering, belaying and rescuing at height. It is developed in co-operation with Harken Industrial, which is evident in the high quality, smooth rope control and robust construction.

What really sets the CMC Clutch apart is the stepless friction control. With a simple knob, the user can adjust the friction according to the load and situation - from fine-tuned movement to full lock. This makes for calmer and safer work, especially with heavy loads or when precision is crucial.

The unit functions as both a rope brake and lowering unit, and can also be used in rescue and hauling systems. It is designed to feed ropes evenly and in a controlled manner, reducing jerking, heat generation and rope wear. Thanks to its well-thought-out design, Clutch is equally effective in everyday work and in critical rescue situations.
