Teufelberger Vulcanus is a heat-resistant rope for demanding work near heat sources and sharp edges. With a polyamide core, aramid sheath, and EN 1891 certification, it offers high strength, low elongation, and increased resistance to abrasion and cutting.

Vulcanus is developed for use where standard polyamide or polyester ropes may be exposed to higher heat loads. The aramid sheath has high heat resistance and a high decomposition point of up to 500 °C, while the rope retains good strength and has minimal stretch. This makes Vulcanus suitable as a work rope or positioning rope, even during repeated rapid descents in rescue and operational environments.
