The rope is manufactured using the Unicore technology. The sheath and core are joined together which minimises sheath slippage and increases durability. This rope is impregnated with Beals Dry Cover, which is an impregnation of the cover that makes the rope resistant to moisture and dirt and extends its life. For those who want to climb in extreme weather conditions, we instead recommend the variant with Golden Dry which has an impregnation to withstand extreme moisture.

Joker is a rope from Beal's Mountain Line series, specially adapted ropes for climbing in challenging weather conditions or ice climbing. The Joker will satisfy the most experienced climber or alpinist looking for a lightweight and safe rope while also being the perfect rope for the traditional multi-climber.
