Hotline is a lightweight, low-elongation throwing line with excellent flight characteristics, meaning it can be thrown easily and accurately over long distances. An important feature is its tear resistance, which comes from the high-strength HMPE (high modulus polyethylene) fibres integrated into the rope's sheath. These durable HMPE fibres ensure that the throwing line can resist friction and abrasion when pulled through or caught on obstacles.
