Confined Spaces Police

Confined Space Search and Rescue, 2 days.

Previous knowledge of VHF basic and advanced courses or equivalent, and own service.

• Work suspended by ropes
• Rigging, lowering and hoisting in confined spaces
• Use of height-shifting systems such as tripods
• Theory of laws, rules and norms
• Companion rescue in confined spaces with and without a stretcher
• Personal skills linked to staying in fall risk environments
• Use of personal fall protection/climbing equipment connected to the task
• Daily and special supervision of materiel
• Work planning, risk analysis, rescue plan, and method description
• Practical exercises related to working in confined spaces
