Cobra II 8.6 mm x 60 m Unicore Golden Dry Blue

Cobra is a rope from Beal's Mountain Line series, specially adapted ropes for climbing in challenging weather conditions or ice climbing. This rope is a true classic for adventure climbing. Lightweight and "free-running" perfect for long trips on the rock or in the Alps, the rope is treated with the so-called Golden Dry technology which makes the rope incredibly water resistant. The rope is made using the Unicore technology. The sheath and core are joined together which minimises sheath slippage and increases durability.

If you don't want to own more than one double rope, the Cobra is the choice for you. With a low breaking load of 5.4 kN to minimise anchor point load and a thick enough sheath to handle sharp rocks, and weighing only 48 grams per metre.
