Boa HMS Steel

The 12 mm Boa HMS is a versatile carbine suitable for a variety of applications where a spacious doorway or high internal volume is required. Its softly rounded internal shape proves particularly useful when you need to quickly rotate the carabiner through different attachment loops. The basket's elegantly curved design allows loaded components to be centrally fastened with precision.

HMS carbines are shaped like pears and often share similar characteristics with oval carbines when it comes to handling loaded components. They promote self-centring of devices and connectors, contributing to a better and safer connection. In addition, the extended basket allows for more components to be connected. It is easy to rotate knots, such as an Italian hitch, between entry and exit, even with thicker rope diameters.

In general, HMS carbines are slightly oversized to accommodate the extra volume that larger ropes require and to give the user a safe and comfortable feeling even when wearing gloves. The carboy has a kwiklock lock, an auto-locking gate that requires two different manoeuvres to open.
