Smoother and more comfortable rope work with Petzl Astro. Both the waist belt and leg loops of the Petzl Astro have a completely new design that closely follows the contours of the body. The belt and leg loops are wider and comfortably padded to provide good and comfortable support even during long work sessions. Both the leg loops and waist belt have new quick-release buckles that are easy to adjust for a perfect fit. The seat harness can be combined with the chest harness, which is designed to make work smoother and more efficient. The chest harness is available in three different versions with different fall protection points and shoulder strap designs. Petzl Astro is also available as a full body harness.

New openable D-ring with room for lots of gear. The waist belt on the Petzl Astro has not only become wider and more comfortable. One of the major innovations, in addition to the horizontal side rings, is a brand new D-ring placed in the centre of the waist belt. The D-ring is openable. A solution that allows the equipment to be attached directly to the harness without carbines. In the centre of the D-ring there is a special shaft for attaching a lanyard. On the left and right outer side of the D-ring are the attachment points for the new seat board (Podium) which has a new practical feature. A special carabiner is mounted on the underside of the seat board to hook the seat board to the waist belt when not in use.
