The RACK Variable Friction Brake allows varying friction when under load to adapt to variations in the terrain such as the weight of the rope, possible rain showers, etc. The number of bars can be adjusted at any time during the celebration for optimal friction. Good distribution of friction and heat helps to protect the rope. Does not twist the rope.
