The PULLEY SET 5:1 is a self-contained, pre-rigged lifting system with controlled descent, including an automatic locking function (progress capture) during lifting, and an easy-to-operate lowering mechanism with secondary lock (also known as overlock or panic lock function).

It can be used for rescue in industries where there are confined spaces and areas with limited access as well as for advanced or specialised rescue situations. It works as a single-line system in an unplanned rescue situation or as part of a two-line rescue system.

The system has a total rope length of 70 metres, giving an effective working length of about 14 metres.
