HK PLUS Fall arrest blocks

HK PLUS is a self-retracting fall arrest block with a galvanised steel wire rope, developed for safe working at height. The automatic wire rope retraction keeps the fall distance as short as possible and makes the device suitable for both vertical and horizontal applications.

The HK PLUS gives the user great freedom of movement while the self-retracting wire always keeps the excess wire taut. The block is approved for users between 50 and 140 kg for vertical use and up to 100 kg for horizontal use over an edge; the HK Plus 15 m (HSG-050-15) is only approved for 100 kg for vertical use. The carabiner is equipped with a colour indicator that shows whether the equipment has been subjected to a fall and needs to be inspected. Thanks to the interchangeable labelling, the block can be easily adapted for both vertical and horizontal use.

Areas of use

HK PLUS is used when working on masts, towers and other workplaces at height where a short fall distance and great freedom of movement are important. The block is approved for both vertical and horizontal applications over edges.
